NARRATOR: Dr. Richard Bucher has been helping patients with their cosmetic dental needs here in New Jersey since 1991. His goal is to provide a comprehensive and caring approach to every patient he sees.

DR. RICHARD BUCHER: We try to approach everything with a game plan. It’s not just—this one hurts today, we’ll treat that; this one hurts next time, we’ll treat that. Too many offices take a one-tooth-at-a-time approach to dentistry, and we try to treat the whole patient at one time if possible.

NARRATOR: Dr. Bucher is among the most respected cosmetic dentists in all of New Jersey. He’s been practicing laser dentistry since 2002. His office provides an extensive range of lasers and high-tech services. They include things like digital x-rays to reduce radiation, oral cancer screenings, and conscious sedation for fearful patients.

DR. BUCHER: If we have someone that is fearful, that really needs to be relaxed before they come in, we can do oral conscious sedation. We also have nitrous oxide in the office, laughing gas. It’s building a rapport with the patient, and never hurting them.

NARRATOR: There’s also a CEREC machine, which allows Dr. Bucher to make crowns and restorations out of porcelain for his patients in just one visit.

DR. BUCHER: So, there’s no second visit. They come in; they’re here once, and everything is done and they go home and the tooth is completed.

NARRATOR: Having one dentist and one team treat the patients every time can be very comforting. At this office, many of Dr. Bucher’s staff have been with him for more than 15, or in some cases, 20 years. They strive to provide the best care in the most comfortable way possible.
